Econotize'15 the annual department fest of "ECOSPIRE", the Economics Society of Shaheed Bhagat Singh college held on 12th and 13th February was a massive hit! The fest was spread over 2 days span with around 8 events were sucessfully carried out. Ecopoly , Beg Borrow Deal and Snakes and ladder being the most attractive events. All the events recieved great participation with around 1300 participants from 45 different colleges , Econotize'15 was one to remember.
ECONOTIZE'16,the economic fest organised by "ECOSPIRE" , the Economics Society of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi held on 4th and 5th of february was a grand sucess ! The fest witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various colleges. The fest had various gripping events like Ecopoly, Treasure Hunt along with some formal events like MUN , Newshour and Paper Presentation which were carried out sucessfully. We cast no doubt on the hardwork put in by the team members into bringing a fest so good into operation. The fest ended with the good note and will be emembered for years to come.

Incognito'15 held on 12 october was a successful event organised by "ECOSPIRE", The Economics Society of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College.A commitee was held on the topic that has been polarising the country since the begining of 2015,"Net Neutrality". The event witnessed great participation from enthusiastic delegates discussing the effects of net neutrality on general citizens,TSPs,TRAI,MAG and corporates.
SEMINAR ON GST
25th October was the date to be remembered for when our department organised a seminar on GST and Budgetary Reforms : Issues and Options. The students were privileged to witness Dr. Laveesh Bhandari and Dr. Sacchidananda Mukherjee as our spokespersons. Their words on Intricacies and Reforms on Economic aspects gave an insight knowledge to the students on this field.
